Abstract

With the rapid development of network information technology, we have gradually entered the “internet plus” era,
which has greatly changed the educational environment of universities, requiring universities to change traditional
educational concepts and models. Under this background, the ideological education in universities is facing severe
challenges, and it is necessary to innovate and develop the ideological education in universities in order to
improve the quality of ideological education. Ideological theory course is the main channel to improve college
students' ideological quality, and party history education is an important content of college students' ideological
quality. Incorporating the history of party history into ideological education in universities can lead young college
students to correctly understand the law of social development. This paper mainly analyzes the importance of
college students' party history education under the background of “internet plus”, points out the problems of
university ideology education, and explores the effective ways of party history education in order to innovate the
ideological education network platform and promote students' all-round development.
